The name spells out the approach: C.I.M. stands for Carbon Injection Molded, a process that pairs the low weight of carbon with the structural integrity of a molded polymer.

The cage is made from long carbon fiber reinforced polyamide, injection molded into shape. That construction keeps the cage rigid enough to hold a bottle firmly without becoming a fragile part you have to treat carefully. The result is a cage that grips hard but stays durable through repeated bottle insertions and the kind of impacts that come with riding off pavement.

What keeps the bottle put are the full-contact rails.
