Description

Carbon fiber handlebars succeed or fail based on their flex profile. Too stiff and trail chatter hammers your hands into submission by mile ten. Too compliant and the bar wanders under hard cornering loads. The M6 Handlebar from ENVE threads this needle with a carbon layup tuned specifically for trail riding, delivering vibration damping along the bar's length while maintaining lateral stiffness where it matters for precise steering input. The result is a bar that reduces arm fatigue on all-day rides without sacrificing the immediate response you need when the trail demands quick corrections.

ENVE built the M6 around a 31.8mm clamp diameter rather than the 35mm standard found on many modern mountain bars. The smaller clamp allows for a thinner wall construction that enhances the bar's ability to absorb high-frequency vibrations transmitted through the fork and front wheel. This design choice prioritizes ride quality over theoretical stiffness gains that rarely translate to real-world performance on trail bikes. For riders whose priority is comfort over hours in the saddle rather than maximum rigidity for bike park laps, the 31.8mm platform delivers tangible benefits. The bar ships at 780mm width with cut lines marked down to 740mm, giving you room to dial in your preferred stance without committing to a specific width at purchase.

The geometry follows established trail conventions with 9 degrees of backsweep and 5 degrees of upsweep. This combination positions your wrists at a natural angle that reduces strain during long climbs while keeping your weight properly distributed for technical descents. The 25mm rise provides enough height to open up your chest for better breathing on sustained efforts and accommodates riders who prefer a more upright position without stacking spacers under the stem. If you run a shorter stem and want your hands higher relative to the saddle, this rise gets you there while keeping your cockpit looking clean.... Read More
