SES 6.7 Pro Rear Wheel
Description
The bead hook is back. ENVE's SES 6.7 Pro Rear Wheel uses a hooked rim bed rather than the hookless profile found on the SES 4.5, which brings the maximum tire pressure rating to 100psi / 7 bar. Tires still need to be tubeless-rated, with or without a tube inside, but the hook accommodates the pressures road racers run on 28mm tires.
Depth sits at 65mm, with a 22.5mm internal width and a 30.5mm external width. The internal figure holds at 22.5mm while much of the market has moved toward 23-25mm, and that is deliberate: the profile was drawn with aerodynamicist Simon Smart around a 28mm tire, the size the WorldTour peloton races. The rear profile differs in shape from the 59mm front wheel, since the rear rim works in air already disturbed by the frame and rider.
The 65mm depth matters to anyone who pins on a number. The UCI's maximum rim-depth rule took effect in January 2026 and left the outgoing 66mm rear ineligible by a single millimeter. Rather than trim an existing mold, ENVE started from a clean sheet, and in-house testing at 48kph puts the new shape ahead of the 60/66mm wheelset it replaces, in a comparison that also included the Roval Rapide CLX II and Vision Metron 60 SL....
