Description

Aluminum tripod stands follow a simple weight equation: lighter usually means less stable or more expensive. The Pro Ultralight from Feedback Sports breaks that equation. At 10.8 lbs, this stand weighs 35% less than comparable models while matching the stability and durability you'd expect from heavier designs. The redesigned clutch body delivers 110% more holding power for 360-degree rotation, and the upgraded spinner knob closes the clamp 60% faster than previous versions. The difference matters when you're working through multiple bikes at events or managing limited workspace at home.

The Slide-Lock clamp mechanism handles the full range of modern frame tubes up to 1.9 inches in diameter. The system automatically adjusts to different tube shapes without manual calibration, so you're not fumbling with multiple adjustment points when you're trying to hold a bike with one hand. Rubber-coated clamp jaw pads protect carbon fiber and painted finishes from compression marks. Height adjusts from 34 inches to 57.5 inches, which covers most working positions whether you're dealing with bottom brackets, cable routing, or headset service. The clamp rotates a full 360 degrees on the redesigned high-friction clutch, holding position without drift.

Quick-release fittings make setup and breakdown straightforward. The tripod folds to a 5-inch by 6.5-inch by 38-inch package that fits in car trunks, closets, or workshop corners. The included padded travel bag protects the stand during transport and makes carrying easier, whether you're heading to races or moving between workspace and storage. The bag includes dual zippers for access from either end, reinforced carry handles, and a clear ID window for quick identification.... Read More

Pros: lightweight, compact, quick/easy setup Cons: color may clash with some bikes (I kid!), clamp can be a little fiddly I use this stand a couple of times a week, and I’m quite pleased with it. It works well with both my MTB and commuter. The latter is pretty heavy, and the stand is solid with the bike mounted. Depending on the orientation, the clamp can sometimes take a few more turns (of the knob) to release (but it’s not a big deal). What impresses me most is the combination of sturdiness and light weight/compactness. It’s so quick and easy to use that I don’t put off routine maintenance. Me likey!
