The elongated tail and smooth shell transitions minimize turbulent airflow separation, while the integrated eye shield positions flush against the helmet body to eliminate gaps that create drag at race speeds.

The oversized eye shield comes from Zeiss Optics, offering optical clarity across the full field of view that time trialists and triathletes require when locked into an aggressive position. Magnetic attachment keeps the shield secure during efforts yet allows quick removal for transitions or temperature management. The shield sits away from the rider's face, creating an airflow channel over the brow that works with the Roc Loc 5 Air fit system to move heat away from the head. Each helmet ships with two shield options: Clear for low-light conditions and Vivid Smoke for bright days, plus a padded carrying pod for transport and storage.

Protection comes through the Mips Air Node system, a rotational energy management solution designed specifically for enclosed aero helmets where traditional Mips slip-planes would compromise ventilation. The Air Node layer laminates onto the comfort padding and connects to the EPS liner through hook-and-loop nodes.
