The Aerohead Mips II Helmet Shield provides a direct replacement for the oversized eye shield on Giro's Aerohead Mips II time trial helmet, restoring the optical clarity and smooth airflow integration the helmet was designed around. The wraparound shape sits flush against the helmet body and positions away from the rider's face, maintaining the aerodynamic profile while allowing air to flow over the brow for cooling during hard efforts.

Giro offers the shield in two length options. One Size provides the standard coverage that ships with the helmet, while the S (Short) variant offers reduced shield length for riders who prefer less facial coverage or have fit preferences that work with a shorter profile. Both length options fit all Aerohead Mips II helmet sizes, so you're choosing based on coverage preference rather than helmet fit.

The magnetic attachment system holds the shield secure at speed while allowing quick removal when conditions change or you need to transition off the bike. If you're running multiple shield tints for different lighting conditions, having a spare lets you swap between Clear Silver for overcast days or early morning starts and Vivid Onyx for bright conditions without carrying both to every race. The shield is specific to the Aerohead Mips II and is not compatible with the original Aerohead Mips helmet.
