Description

The Octo Fit retention system distinguishes the Mojito 3 from entry-level helmets that rely on simpler adjustment mechanisms. KASK migrated this technology down from their Protone and Valegro models, giving the Mojito 3 the same fitting precision found in helmets costing significantly more. A rubberized dial provides secure grip for on-the-fly tension adjustments, while floating cradle contact points with internal gel pads oscillate through 180 degrees to conform to different skull shapes. The rear cradle pulls down approximately 6cm on its ratchet, allowing riders to position the skeletal brackets exactly where they grip most securely. These Black and Red colorways represent discontinued options from KASK's rotating palette—same helmet, same performance, just colors that have cycled out of the current lineup.

Blue Tech padding lines the interior with a notably plush feel compared to the minimal foam found in KASK's race-focused helmets. The single-piece construction makes removal and washing straightforward, while the antimicrobial treatment resists odor buildup over extended use. Internal channels run front to rear, creating straighter airflow paths that deliver more uniform cooling across the top of the head than previous Mojito generations achieved. The redesigned channeling pulls air through the helmet rather than letting it pool at the front vents, addressing heat retention issues that affected some earlier designs.

Seventeen enlarged vents replace the 26 smaller openings of the Mojito X, with KASK's engineering team finding that fewer but larger vents with optimized positioning actually increased total vent surface area and improved airflow efficiency. The helmet's profile has been smoothed and modernized from the aggressive fins and busy shaping of earlier versions, though the distinctive Mojito tail remains as a nod to the helmet's lineage. Since 2012, KASK has sold nearly a million Mojito helmets worldwide, making it one of the most recognized silhouettes in road cycling.... Read More
