Description
Chrome vanadium steel resists the rounding and bending that renders cheaper multi-tool bits useless after a few roadside repairs. Lezyne machines the V Pro 11's tool bits from this harder alloy and applies their Black Anti-Corrosion coating to prevent rust when the tool lives in a saddle bag exposed to sweat and road spray. The 11 functions cover the hex and Torx sizes that dominate modern bicycle components, giving you the tools to adjust or tighten nearly every bolt on a contemporary road, gravel, or mountain bike.
The hex selection runs from 2mm through 8mm in the sizes you actually need: 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, and 6mm handle stems, seatpost clamps, brake calipers, and derailleur limit screws, while the 8mm covers crank bolts and some pedal spindles. Torx bits in T10, T25, and T30 address the disc brake rotors, some stem faceplates, and chainring bolts that have shifted away from hex fittings in recent years. A Phillips screwdriver rounds out the selection for derailleur adjustments and older components that still use cross-head fasteners.
The side plates are CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum and anodized black to match the tool bits. This construction keeps the overall weight to 93 grams while providing a comfortable grip surface when you're torquing stubborn bolts. The bits themselves are longer than previous Lezyne designs, which improves access to recessed bolts and provides better leverage. Each bit folds out from the center pivot with enough resistance to stay in position during use without flopping closed.... Read More
