The LOOK Combo Aero Carbon Stem uses a carbon fiber construction with an integrated faceplate design. The stem uses a 31.8mm handlebar clamp diameter, which is standard for modern road handlebars. The steerer clamp accommodates 1-1/8 inch steerer tubes. The stem body integrates with the top cap and steerer preload system, allowing you to adjust headset bearing preload before final installation. The faceplate design distributes clamping force evenly across the handlebar clamping area, which prevents stress concentrations that could damage carbon handlebars.
