Keo 2 Max Pedals
Color: Black
Description
Composite-bodied road pedals are where LOOK's clipless legacy translates into something the everyday rider can actually afford, and the Keo 2 Max sits squarely in that space. The pedal pairs a 500mm² stainless steel contact plate with a composite body and a Chromoly+ spindle, positioning it as LOOK's Granfondo-focused option below the Blade race pedals. That larger plate is shaped to match the cleat's footprint, so contact stays consistent even as your foot moves through the pedal's float range.
The platform measures 60mm wide, which gives your forefoot a stable base without pushing into the awkward territory of a full mountain platform. Stack height sits at 17.3mm including the cleat, and Q-factor is 53mm, so bike fit numbers stay in familiar territory if you're coming off another Keo pedal. Spring tension adjusts from 8 to 12Nm via a small hex bolt on the rear of the pedal body, letting you dial in release resistance from casual entry to something closer to race-firm.
These ship with grey Keo Grip cleats that provide 4.5 degrees of float, which LOOK includes as the standard cleat with all their pedals. You can swap to red cleats for zero degrees of float or black cleats for nine degrees depending on your preference. The Keo Grip material adds a rubber walking surface to the cleat, which cuts down on the slippery clatter that early Keo cleats were notorious for on tile or polished concrete.... Read More
