X-One G Max Pedals
Color: Black
Description
Gravel racing pedals live in an awkward spot: too much platform and you carry needless weight, too little and your foot floats around on long, rough sectors. LOOK built the X-One-G Max around a machined recycled-aluminum body that gives you a stable base without the bulk of a full mountain pedal, aimed squarely at riders who want confident footing when the road turns to gravel and the pace stays high. With 650mm² of contact surface across a 67mm width, the platform is shaped to match shoe lugs for a locked-in feel through accelerations.
Engagement runs on LOOK's single-sided mechanism, which enters automatically once you step down onto it. There's no hunting for the sweet spot, which matters when you're clipping in on a loose climb or after a technical section forced a foot down. Release tension adjusts from 5 to 10 so you can set the interface to match your terrain and preference, and the sleek single-sided design trims weight and cleans up aerodynamics compared to a double-sided platform.
These pedals are SPD-compatible and ship set up for LOOK's X-Classic cleats, which deliver 6° of float and a 13° release angle. That float range gives your knees room to track naturally over long days while still returning to center for consistent power delivery. The cleats let you dial engagement to the demands of the course, whether that's a fast-rolling gravel road or a technical, punchy race profile like Unbound.... Read More
