Ritchey SuperLogic Carbon Seatpost
Perhaps what is most interesting about Ritchey's SuperLogic seatpost and all SuperLogic components for that matter, is the fact that they are some of the industries lightest parts available, but they are also one of the strongest and most reliable. Ritchey's engineering and field testing has now brought us the best of both worlds - super lightweight and superb reliability. Back in the day, if you wanted a super light part, you rolled the dice and took your chances. You were willing to sacrifice reliability for shaving weight. Now you get both with SuperLogic - feather light yet super stout.
The shaft and cradle are constructed from one piece UD carbon and uses a monocoque frame design. This also means no bonding or gluing, so the strength of the post is greatly increased, while the weight is decreased. Internally, the shaft has material removed and scalloped where it is not absolutely necessary. The cradle on the top of the seatpost shaft is wide and holds Ritchey's ingenious 1-Bolt clamp assembly. This clamp mechanism allows you to adjust both angle and fore aft adjustment with one bolt at the same time. The bolt is located on the side of the seatpost for easy access. Adjusting your seatpost has never been easier. The assembly is also much lighter than standard clamp design, so it is a winner all the way around.
The UD shaft has a beautiful gloss coating applied to add some strength by protecting the raw carbon. It cleans up well and is resistant to the elements. The 1-Bolt head has been anodized and then polished to a high luster. The silver polish adds some nice contrast to the primarily black post. Following the Ferraris don't need pinstripes logic, the graphics are way subdued. The post design and style does all the talking, no need for oversized flash graphics. Vertical Ritchey logo with small SuperLogic logo underneath adorn both sides of the post and a small TR logo right below the clamp is all you get to show that you are using the industries best seatpost.

I would buy this again in a second! It is superlight, obviously and it looks good. It is made well. First class quality here, you will notice that right away. Although I'm not sure you could train a monkey to attach a saddle to it, I did it and I am really not mechanically inclined. I bought the extra clamp kit to attach my fizik arione with carbon rails to it. It fits perfectly.
Pros Its lighter than any other post you will find.
Cons setup not easy, but hey, I did it!
