Description
Tight tubeless road setups have broken more tire levers than anyone wants to admit. The combination of hookless rims and snug-fitting tires creates bead tension that snaps flimsy plastic levers in half right when you need them most. Muc-Off built the Rim Stix to handle those frustrating combinations without flexing or failing, using a POM/nylon blend that stays rigid under serious prying force.
The tip design does most of the work. A curved scoop profile slides under the tire bead more easily than flat-tipped levers, and a recess molded into the underside helps the lever grip the rim edge once you've started lifting. That means less wrestling with the tire and less chance of pinching the tube if you're running one. The 130mm length provides noticeably more leverage than standard compact levers, which matters when you're fighting a particularly stubborn bead.
Spoke hooks on the opposite end let you park the lever on a spoke while you work a second lever around the rim. The hooks grab securely enough that the lever stays put instead of popping loose under tension. A valve core remover built into the lever body handles tubeless valve maintenance without requiring a separate tool — useful if you need to add sealant or clear a clogged valve on the trail....
