The latex-based formula uses what the company calls nanites—solid particles in various shapes and sizes that migrate toward punctures and form a rapid seal. Holes up to 1/4" and slices up to 3/4" fall within the formula's sealing range, which covers most thorns, glass shards, and small trail debris that tubeless riders encounter.

The regular formula works down to 11°F, making it suitable for three-season riding in most climates. Sealant life runs 30 to 45 days depending on conditions—heat and low humidity accelerate drying, while cooler temperatures extend longevity. Plan on checking levels monthly and topping off as needed. Road tires take 1 to 2oz per tire, 27.5" mountain tires need about 3oz, 29ers call for 4oz, and plus or fat tires require 6 to 8oz.
