Description
Small parts have a way of disappearing during repairs. You set down a derailleur limit screw, turn to grab a screwdriver, and suddenly you're on your hands and knees searching the floor. The Park Tool MB-1 solves this with a simple magnetic base that holds steel fasteners in place while you work. Drop a bolt in the bowl and it stays put, even if you bump the bench or knock something over.
The bowl itself measures about four inches across with a shallow profile that keeps parts visible and accessible. That footprint works well on crowded workbenches where space is already claimed by tools, rags, and the components you're servicing. The magnetic pull is strong enough to hold multiple bolts, limit screws, cable anchor bolts, and other small steel hardware without letting pieces slide around or stack on top of each other.
Rubber coating on the exterior prevents the bowl from scratching your bench or sliding around on smooth surfaces. It also dampens the noise when you toss parts in—no metallic clatter every time you drop a bolt. The coating extends across the bottom, so you can set the MB-1 on a painted frame or finished workbench without worrying about leaving marks.... Read More
