Description

Underneath the bottom bracket shell is where mechanical shift cables make their tightest turn, and a worn or missing guide is a common source of sluggish shifting on internally routed carbon frames. This Most cable guide is Pinarello's proprietary solution for that transition, giving the front and rear derailleur inner wires a low-friction surface to cross beneath the shell. It bolts to the underside of the frame and keeps the cables running clean through the bottom bracket area.

You'll find this guide as standard equipment across a range of older Pinarello frames, including the Dogma F8, F10, and F12, along with the Gan, Prince, and Paris models. If the shifting on one of these frames has gone gritty and you've already ruled out the housing and cables, a cracked or grooved BB guide is worth checking before you chase the problem further up the line. Replacing it is a straightforward job with the crankset removed.

This is a mechanical-only part. The guide routes bare inner wires and does nothing for electronic or hydraulic systems, so if you've converted to Di2 or eTap the guide comes out and doesn't get replaced. Keep that in mind before ordering, since the guide is specific to cable-actuated derailleurs.... Read More
