Chainstay Protector
Description
That grinding sound when a chain drops inward and meets raw carbon is about as pleasant as fingernails on a chalkboard, and considerably more expensive to ignore. The Chainstay Protector from Pinarello positions a custom-shaped guard right behind the front chainring where dropped chains do their damage, shielding the chainstay from the gouging and scratching that comes with chainsuck events or misshifts under load. This is the MOST-branded Crystal kit, a 5-piece transparent set that Pinarello supplies as the factory protection for its Dogma platform.
Two versions exist, and picking the right one matters because they are molded to different frame generations. The PSPCC0001AM fits the Dogma F12 and the earlier Dogma F frames, and it also carries backwards compatibility with the Prince TiCR, Paris, and certain F and X series variants. The PSPCC0002AM is cut for the Model Year 2025 Dogma F, which Pinarello reshaped with revised aero chainstay tubes, so this version has a different geometric profile to sit flush against those updated shapes. Match the part number to your frame and model year before ordering.
Each kit uses a crystal-clear film with 3M self-adhesive backing, so the protection stays nearly invisible against the paint. Beyond the main custom-shaped guard behind the chainring, you get four supplementary clear patches to cover other high-wear areas around the frame. The clear finish keeps your paint scheme visible rather than hiding it under a black patch.... Read More
