Description
Wedge-style seatpost retention works by compression—a tapered block sits in a pocket behind the post, and when you tighten the bolts, the wedge presses against the seatpost to lock it in place. The Pinarello Dogma F MY25 Seatpost Wedge is the frame-specific component that makes this system work on the 2025 Dogma F, and it's not interchangeable with wedges from earlier Dogma generations.
Pinarello redesigned the seatpost clamp mechanism for the MY25 model year, integrating it more fully into the seat tube structure. The result is a smaller, lighter clamp assembly that sits flush with the frame and limits the gap where sweat and road grime can work their way inside. The wedge compresses via twin bolts that draw it against the seatpost surface, creating even clamping force without the stress concentrations that can develop with traditional collar-style clamps on aero-profile posts.
If you're building up an MY25 Dogma F frameset or need to replace a damaged wedge after a crash or overtorque situation, this is the correct part. The wedge geometry is specific to the MY25 seat tube pocket—it won't work with the earlier Dogma F (pre-2025), and those older wedges won't fit the MY25 frame either.
