Description

Pinarello has never split its race program into a climber and an aero specialist. The Dogma F is the single machine the brand builds for every stage — crosswind flats, sprint finishes, and the queen-stage climb — and this Q36.5 Team version wears the livery of the Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, team decals included, built with the same SRAM Red groupset, Zipp wheels, and Vittoria tires the squad races.

The frame is TorayCa M40X carbon with TiCR cable routing and an Italian bottom bracket. The Dogma F uses this Toray M40X carbon fibre, which Pinarello claims has a tensile-strength advantage enabling it to reach the next level of lateral stiffness performance. The M40X high-modulus fiber is said to have a higher stiffness rating than the T1100 carbon used on the outgoing Dogma F. Pinarello pairs the carbon with its trademark asymmetric tube shaping, which balances the uneven loads a drivetrain feeds through a frame. Depending on the build, complete bikes come in around 6.63 to 6.88kg for a 53cm without pedals or bottles.

Geometry follows the Dogma formula that has carried Grand Tour wins for years, and it prioritizes handling and ride quality over chasing the lowest possible number on the scale. Pinarello says it dropped 108g from the frame, but the real gains come through reduced drag — a 0.2% reduction it argues makes more difference to your speed out on the road. That reasoning came directly from race data: Pinarello analyzed Geraint Thomas's performance data from the 2022 Tour de France, measuring his energy output against potential aero savings, and the result is a frame where nearly every detail was redesigned for marginal gains. ...
