Description

Pinarello has never chased the crowd, and the Dogma F carries that conviction into its latest generation. The asymmetric frame is molded from Carbon M40X, a lay-up first proven on the brand's X-Light models and the Ineos Grenadiers team bikes. This fiber carries an exceptional tensile module, and Pinarello used it to push lateral stiffness to a new level without adding bulk to the tubing. The result is a frame that reads as unmistakably Pinarello, with the flowing asymmetric shapes and sculpted junctions that have defined the Dogma line since the F8, refined here into something tighter and more streamlined.

The geometry stays true to the race-bred fit that has carried Grand Tour wins, positioning the rider low and forward while keeping the front end responsive enough to trust on a fast descent. The new Onda fork uses a 47mm rake, dialed in with input from professional riders to sharpen handling and stability at speed. Wheelbase, stack, and reach scale progressively across the size range, so the same balance of stiffness and control holds whether you ride the smallest or largest frame. Threaded Italian BSA bottom bracket construction and internal eTAP AXS cable routing keep the platform clean and serviceable.

Aerodynamics drove much of this redesign, and the details add up. The down tube has been reworked to reduce its thickness and cut frontal drag. Borrowing from Pinarello's Hour Record work, the new Aero-Keel BB rotates the down tube by 3.5° to form a keel shape that improves airflow around the bottom bracket area by 1.2 percent. The signature head tube nose, introduced on the 2014 Dogma F8, has been slimmed by 8mm for cleaner frontal penetration. To achieve that narrower head tube, Pinarello engineered an elliptical steerer and a headset with differentiated bearing diameters, wider at the bottom and narrower at the top.... Read More
