Compatibility matters here: the Dogma F uses a different seatpost clamping system than the earlier Dogma generations. If you're working on an F8, F10, or F12, this wedge kit won't fit—those frames need the older two-bolt wedge design. The Dogma F Seatpost Wedge Kit is specifically machined for the current Dogma F's frontal integrated clamp, which Pinarello redesigned to reduce size and tuck entirely inside the seat tube for cleaner aerodynamics.
The system works through a wedge that sits behind the seatpost within the frame's seat tube junction. When you thread the two included grub screws, they push the wedge forward against the post, creating compression that holds everything in place. No external collar breaks up the lines between top tube and seatpost—the entire mechanism hides inside the frame. Pinarello claims this integrated approach shaves weight compared to traditional external clamps while contributing to the Dogma F's wind-cheating profile.
This kit includes everything you need for a complete replacement: the machined wedge and both grub screws. The screws are sized specifically for the Dogma F's seat tube threading, so you're getting OE-spec hardware rather than generic fasteners.
