Dogma X Super Record EPS Bicycle
Description
Long-distance road riding asks something specific from a frame: it needs to stay fast when the pavement turns rough, hold you comfortable past the point where most race bikes start beating you up, and still feel alive when you want to push. The Pinarello Dogma X answers that brief by taking the racing DNA of the Dogma platform and reworking it for riders who log big hours. Built from TorayCa M40X carbon fiber, the frame carries Pinarello's asymmetric design language and a reworked rear triangle that separates ride quality from stiffness in a way the standard Dogma doesn't attempt.
The centerpiece is the X Stays 2.0 system at the rear of the bike. These redesigned seatstays flex to absorb road buzz and bigger hits, adding vertical compliance without robbing you of the lateral stiffness that puts power to the ground. Up front, the elliptical steering tube and new eTiCR Onda fork with ForkFlap manage airflow and route everything internally, while the aero downtube and new aero-keel bottom bracket junction tighten up the frame's wind profile. The result is a bike that reads as an endurance machine on paper but rides with the sharpness Pinarello riders expect.
Geometry sits in that endurance-performance middle ground. Pinarello uses Italian threaded bottom bracket standards here, which the team at Excel appreciates for straightforward long-term service, and the frame is UCI approved if you plan to race it. Cable routing runs through the eTiCR system, keeping brake hoses and electronic wires hidden from the cockpit back through the frame. This is the Etna Lucente / Moonlight Frost finish, color code 430.... Read More
