Description
Toray T1100 1K carbon fiber with Nanoalloy technology forms the foundation of the Pinarello Dogma X, the same material that underpins the race-focused Dogma F ridden at the sport's highest levels. What separates the Dogma X from its competition-bred sibling isn't a downgrade in construction but a fundamental rethinking of geometry and compliance. Pinarello built this frame for riders who measure their days in hours rather than watts, and the engineering reflects that priority without abandoning the stiffness and responsiveness that defines the brand.
The X-Stays represent the most visible departure from conventional endurance design. Two sets of seatstays connect to the seat tube at separate points, creating an X-shaped junction that isolates high-frequency road vibration before it reaches the rider. The geometry beneath those stays tilts toward comfort as well, with a taller stack and shorter reach than the Dogma F that opens up the cockpit without resorting to excessive spacers or stem adjustments. Tire clearance extends to 35mm, broad enough to run volume when the roads deteriorate.
Pinarello's asymmetric frame construction carries over from the Dogma F, with the right side of the rear triangle reinforced to counteract drivetrain forces while the left side prioritizes compliance. The result is a frame that transfers power efficiently under load but doesn't punish riders on long approaches or rough pavement. Internal cable routing keeps the lines clean, and the Onda carbon fork maintains the visual and structural continuity that ties the Dogma X to Pinarello's competition heritage.... Read More
