Description

Pinarello's Prince has long been positioned as the bike that brings Dogma DNA within reach, and this build makes the value proposition explicit. The T700 carbon chassis carries the asymmetric design philosophy that defines the brand's flagship — offset chainstays, an ONDA fork, and a frame geometry that mirrors the Dogma's handling signature — but the price ladder steps down through component selection rather than frame compromise. This particular Prince served as a display bike at the Excel Service Course and shows little to no signs of wear, now offered as DEMO 3 at a discount off standard build pricing.

The asymmetric frame design is the engineering thread that ties the Prince to Pinarello's race-bred lineage. Drivetrain forces don't act symmetrically on a road bike — the chain pulls on the right side, braking torque loads one fork leg differently than the other, and rider weight rarely sits perfectly centered. Pinarello's response, refined across two decades of World Tour development, is a frame where the right and left sides are intentionally engineered with different tube shapes and reinforcement to balance those forces. The ONDA fork carries the same logic forward, with curved blades that absorb road buzz while keeping steering input direct.

Geometry sits in race-endurance territory rather than full aggressive racing posture. The stack is tall enough for long days without resorting to a stem full of spacers, and the reach allows a rider to settle into the drops without feeling stretched. Wheelbase and chainstay numbers keep the handling lively in technical descents while preserving stability at speed on open roads — the kind of balance that suits riders who race occasionally but ride seriously every weekend....
