If you've been riding a Ventral Air MIPS or Ventral Tempus MIPS for a few seasons, you already know how the helmet feels when it's fresh — and how that feeling fades once the pads pack down, hold sweat, or just lose their grip on a clean bath. This replacement pad set from POC is built for the 2025-and-earlier versions of those two helmets, the generation that uses MIPS Integra rather than the newer MIPS Air Node system found on the 2026 Ventral Air MIPS. Worth checking which generation you have before ordering, because the padding architectures aren't interchangeable.

MIPS Integra is the reason this kit matters more than a typical comfort refresh. Instead of a separate plastic cage, the Ventral Air MIPS uses MIPS' Integra system that replaces the standard helmet padding with silicone padding mounted on a smooth in-mold PC layer within the helmet, and the pads' slip plane action and ability to slide on that PC layer reduce rotational motions that can cause concussions during impact. In other words, the pads aren't just there for sweat management — they're a working part of the rotational protection system. The MIPS Integra pads sit around the brow and across the top of the head, with four thinner standard foam pads at the rear, all held in place with hook-and-loop so the set comes out easily for washing or replacement.

One thing to be careful about: this kit does not fit the standard Ventral MIPS, the older Ventral Air SPIN, or the current 2026 Ventral Air MIPS. POC's Ventral family has several distinct interior geometries and protection systems, and pads from the wrong generation can affect fit, create pressure points, and compromise how the rotational system performs in a crash.
