Running a 12mm thru-axle on the front of a Ritchey carbon gravel or cyclocross fork works fine, but if you want a stiffer front end — or you've got a new wheelset with a 15mm front hub you want to put under an existing Ritchey fork — this is the kit that gets you there. The Ritchey 15mm Thru-Axle Conversion Kit swaps the 12mm axle and dropout inserts on the fork for a 15mm setup, no fork replacement required.

The kit includes the 7075 alloy axle in 15 x 100mm spacing with a 1.5mm thread pitch and a 6mm hex head, along with the replacement dropout lobes (Ritchey calls them chips) and the fixing screws to mount them. Total axle length is 120mm. Once installed, the fork accepts any standard 15mm thru-axle non-boost front hub.

Compatibility is specific: this is for Ritchey's thru-axle gravel and cyclocross forks — including the WCS Carbon Gravel Fork and the WCS Carbon Cyclocross Tapered Disc fork — that originally shipped with the 12mm axle interface.
