Ritchey builds this fork with carbon blades and an aluminum steerer, crown, and dropouts. That construction gives you vibration damping from the carbon legs while keeping the crown interface and steerer simple and reliable with metal hardware. The High Modulus Fiber layup in the blades manages vertical compliance without going soft when you're leaning into corners or sprinting out of the saddle.

The carbon fiber orientation runs smooth through the crown-to-steerer junction, which transfers steering input cleanly while absorbing impact forces that come up through the blades. Ritchey places different fiber types where they're needed most—stiffer fibers resist side loads and torsion near the dropouts, while the blade sections use fibers that flex vertically to smooth out road chatter. The fork clears 700x25mm tires with 4mm minimum clearance, which works for standard road rubber but doesn't leave room for anything wider.

The fork comes in two steerer options: 1-inch and 1-1/8-inch straight, both with 300mm of uncut length. The 1-inch version has a 34mm crown diameter and 39mm spacing between the legs, while the 1-1/8-inch runs a 45mm crown with 32mm leg spacing. Both versions use a 43mm rake and accommodate 100x9mm quick release axles. Ritchey specs these for rim brakes only—there's no disc mount or reinforcement for caliper loads. The uncut steerer weighs 525 grams before you trim it to fit your frame.
