Internal cable routing is one of those features that either works cleanly or turns bar swaps into an afternoon-long project. The Ritchey WCS Streem handles it by drilling dedicated ports and molding channels into a triple-butted 6066 alloy bar that keeps the aero-formed top section intact. You get a wing-shaped platform on the tops, an increasing-radius drop that opens up multiple hand positions, and hidden cables without stepping up to a full carbon aero bar.

The shape leans toward comfort more than most aero bars will admit to. A 4.5-degree back sweep on the tops pulls the hoods slightly closer and takes some pressure off the wrists, and a 2-degree drop flare kicks the drops out just enough to open your chest when you're low. The compact 128mm drop and 73mm reach keep the transition from hoods to drops short, which matters if you have smaller hands or run modern shifters where the hoods already sit tall.

Triple-butting varies the wall thickness along the length of the bar, placing material where stiffness matters — at the stem clamp and shifter zones — and thinning it out where a little flex takes the edge off road buzz. The 31.8mm clamp works with any standard road stem, and the sandpaper-textured stem and shifter zones help resist slippage without cranking bolts past torque spec.
