Oval cable ports show up on frames where the manufacturer wanted a bit more room for routing flexibility or needed to accommodate multiple cables through a single entry point. The SM-GM02 grommets fit these 7x8mm oval openings, sealing the frame where your Di2 wires pass inside. If you've measured your frame's cable entries and found ovals rather than circles, this is the grommet set you need.

The rubber construction grips both the frame opening and the EW-SD50 wire, holding everything in place while blocking water and debris from entering the frame interior. Without proper grommets, internal routing leaves gaps that invite contamination—road spray, washing water, and fine grit all find their way inside over time. A sealed entry point keeps frame internals cleaner and prevents the wire from shifting or vibrating against the frame walls.

Each pack includes four grommets, which handles most builds with room to spare. If you're setting up a bike with multiple Di2 entry points—say, one at the down tube for the front derailleur wire and another at the chainstay for the rear—you'll have enough for the job plus replacements if one gets damaged during installation or a future service.
