Shimano's R55C4 Brake Pads are the OEM replacement compound for Dura-Ace, Ultegra, and 105 rim-brake calipers, formulated specifically for aluminum and alloy braking surfaces. The compound resists picking up metal particles and road debris, which keeps the pad face clean and the rim wall out of trouble.

These are cartridge-style inserts, meaning they slide into your existing Shimano brake shoe holders and lock in place with a small fixing screw. One package covers a single caliper with two pads, so a full front-and-rear replacement requires two packages. Fixing bolts are included.

Do not use these on carbon rims. The R55C4 alloy compound will damage a carbon braking surface and void your wheel warranty.
