Silca engineered the TPU Tube to fix the failure modes that have plagued the category, using a patented mechanical valve bond where two aluminum flanges encapsulate the TPU material along with a rubber gasket. The tubes are produced in Germany from unpigmented thermoplastic polyurethane, which avoids the color additives that reduce material resistance and increase internal friction.
