Phenom Pro Mirror Saddle
Description
The Phenom shape has always been about giving riders room to move—long body, flat profile, gentle transitions from nose to tail—and Specialized carries that geometry into the Phenom Pro Mirror while swapping traditional foam padding for their 3D-printed lattice. At 27cm nose to tail, it's the longest and flattest Mirror saddle Specialized has built to date, using 3D-printed liquid polymer to create a honeycomb structure in place of conventional padding. If you've ridden a Phenom before and liked the shape but wanted more damping over rough surfaces, this is the version that solves that problem without changing the fit you already know.
The Mirror print uses 20,055 struts and 8,735 nodes tuned to reduce sit bone pressure by 28% compared to a traditional foam saddle, measured through Specialized's pressure mapping. What that translates to on the bike is a saddle that soaks up vibration in a way foam can't match—chattery pavement, chip seal, and fireroad buzz get filtered out before they reach your sit bones. The trade-off is a small amount of lateral compliance under hard steering inputs, so riders coming off a firm race saddle will notice a slightly different feel through hard corners.
The Phenom Pro Mirror sits one step below the S-Works version in the range. Both saddles use the identical 3D padding; the S-Works model adds a carbon rail and shell, while the Phenom Pro uses a carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon shell and hollow titanium tubular rails. That's where the price difference goes—if you want the Mirror padding experience without paying for the carbon chassis, the Pro version gets you there.... Read More
