For the S-Works Evade 3 design group, the watchwords to know were "Diffusion Cooling". The helmet was reconceived to deliver increased ventilation by 10% over it's very effective predecessor while maintaining its leading aero performance. This innovation breakthrough was achieved through extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics and Win Tunnel testing, with a new entry ventilation port system up front and ultimately in a rear “diffuser” exhaust that helps minimize drag and employs larger vents to increase ventilation and airflow throughput with less overall resistance.
