The drivetrain is SRAM RED AXS E1, 12-speed, with a dual-sided Quarq powermeter and 50/37-tooth chainrings matching Evenepoel's own setup , feeding an XG-1290 E1 cassette that spans 10-36t. That combination gives the Tarmac a climb-friendly range despite its race focus. A RED Flattop E1 chain, braze-on front derailleur, and RED E1 hydraulic levers and calipers complete the group. CeramicSpeed supplies both the headset and the bottom bracket , the latter a BB Alpha threading into a BSA shell in DUB spindle spec.

Roval's Rapide Sprint CLX wheels run 63mm front and 58mm rear rim depths on a 21mm internal width, laced with ARRIS composite aero spokes and titanium end pieces to LF18-F and LF19-R hubs, 18 and 24 spokes respectively. Cotton TLR tires in 700x30 come fitted, and although listed as 30mm they measure just under 29mm on the wide Roval rims, sitting flush with the rim sidewall . TPU inner tubes with 80mm Presta valves are included.

Up front, the Roval Rapide Cockpit integrates bar and stem into a single carbon piece, wrapped in Supacaz Super Sticky Kush tape. Flare increases as width decreases, so even the 36cm version meets the UCI limit of 40cm outside-to-outside in the drops. The S-Works Power with Mirror saddle mounts to an S-Works Rapide Post with 15mm offset, held by the Tarmac's integrated wedge binder. UDH dropout, 12x142mm thru-axle spacing, and flat-mount disc brakes keep the frame aligned with current standards.
