Turbo Levo 4 Expert Bicycle
Description
A decade on from the electric mountain bike that started a category, the fourth-generation Levo arrives as a ground-up redesign of motor, battery, and suspension rather than a refresh. The Specialized Turbo Levo 4 Expert is built around the new Specialized 3.1 drive unit and a RockShox shock carrying Specialized's GENIE air-spring technology, wrapped in a Levo 4 carbon chassis that carries its mass low and centered so the bike reads as a capable trail machine. It sits in the carbon lineup between the Comp and the Pro, pairing the full-power 3.1 drive system with a full RockShox Select+ suspension package, SRAM GX Eagle Transmission, and the same 840Wh battery found on the range-topping models.
The frame is Levo 4 carbon front and rear, running 150mm of rear travel through a Horst Link layout matched to a 160mm fork, with SWAT downtube storage and a side-entry battery. Fork travel is accommodated up to 180mm for riders who want to slacken things further. Adjustability runs deep: the geometry system offers 9mm of chainstay length, 6mm of bottom bracket height, and 1° of head tube angle adjustment, letting riders shift the character from a balanced trail bike toward a slacker, more planted descender.
In its shipped configuration the geometry centers on a 64.5° head tube angle across sizes, with reach growing from 435mm in S2 to 535mm in S6 and stack scaling alongside from 618mm to 667mm. The seat tube angle sits at 76°, and the chainstay stays consistent across the range rather than scaling by size, so taller riders on the S5 and S6 frames lean on the adjustable geometry to fine-tune balance. This is the information most browsers need before committing, so it sits above the fold by design.... Read More
