Description
Chain links fail at inconvenient times. Trailside, mid-ride, fifty miles from the car. The SRAM Eagle PowerLock gives you a reliable connection point for 12-speed Eagle drivetrains, and this 2-pack means you've got a spare after installation or a backup stashed in your pack for mechanicals.
PowerLock links are single-use by design. SRAM machines the engagement plates to precise tolerances that work once—you slide the chain together, apply pedal pressure, and the link seats permanently. That's intentional. Reusable quick links rely on spring tension that can weaken over time, while PowerLock's interference fit maintains consistent engagement. The tradeoff is you'll need a chain tool or PowerLock pliers to remove it, but you're getting a connection that won't pop open mid-sprint.
Compatibility covers the full Eagle 12-speed family. XX1, X01, GX, NX—if it's an Eagle chain with the flattened inner plates and solid pin construction, these links work. SRAM unified their 12-speed chain architecture across price points, so you're not matching link variants to specific chain grades. The Rainbow finish uses a PVD coating process that adds some visual flair without affecting function, while Silver keeps things understated.... Read More
