Description

Chainring replacement on SRAM's Force AXS cranksets doesn't require pulling the whole crank. The Force AXS E1 2x Chainring Kit includes both the outer and inner rings as a matched set, designed to work with SRAM's direct mount interface on Force and Rival AXS cranks. You're getting the same rings that come stock on the crankset, just without buying a whole new crank when the teeth wear out.

The E1 designation refers to SRAM's current road chainring architecture, which positions the rings for optimized chainline with their 12-speed cassettes. Both rings feature SRAM's X-SYNC tooth profile with alternating thick and thin teeth that match the inner and outer plate spacing on the chain. This isn't just about shift quality—though the ramps and pins are tuned for AXS electronic shifting—it's about chain retention when you're out of the saddle or hitting rough pavement.

Three gear combinations cover the spread of what most road and gravel riders need: 48/35, 46/33, and 43/30. The 48/35 setup matches traditional road gearing for flat terrain and fast group rides. Drop to 46/33 for mixed terrain or hillier routes where you want slightly easier ratios without going full compact. The 43/30 option makes sense for loaded touring, steep climbing, or riders who've accepted they don't need a 50-tooth ring they'll never use.... Read More
