The Force AXS E1 brake-shift lever is SRAM's second-tier wireless integrated control for 1x and 2x drop-bar drivetrains, sitting one notch below Red AXS E1 in the road and gravel hierarchy. This is the redesigned E1 generation that arrived alongside the latest Force AXS groupset, with reshaped hoods, a flatter top surface for braced climbing positions, and Bonus Buttons on the inside of each hood that can be programmed through the AXS app to control shifting, computer pages, or lights.

Lever feel is where the E1 generation makes its biggest jump over the previous Force. The brake lever throw is shorter, the pivot has been repositioned for stronger one-finger braking from the hoods, and the textured rubber wraps further around the hood body for grip when your hands are wet or covered in gravel dust. The shift paddle behind the brake lever has more travel and a clearer click than the outgoing version, which matters when you're shifting through gloves on a cold ride.

This is a single lever, sold individually rather than as a pair. Confirm whether you need the left or right when ordering, since left controls the front derailleur on 2x setups and right controls the rear on both 1x and 2x.
