Description

SRAM's Force AXS E1 crank arm assembly is the 2025 redesign of the mid-tier road and gravel crankarm, borrowing the same architecture as the current Red — hollow carbon arms, DUB spindle, and an 8-bolt interface — with different finishing and a slight weight penalty. The E1 arms shed 60 grams over the previous generation and now span 160mm to 175mm lengths on a DUB spindle. If you're building a new Force AXS drivetrain or replacing damaged arms while keeping your existing spider and rings, this is the direct SKU.

The assembly ships as the arms and DUB spindle only — no spider, no chainrings, no bottom bracket. That's the point of buying at this level: the 8-bolt interface accepts power and non-power AXS spiders and integrated chainrings, and the arms are carbon fiber with a natural carbon finish. You choose whether to add a Quarq spider-based powermeter, an integrated 1x aero chainring, or a standard 2x spider with Thread Mount chainrings on top. The Thread Mount design uses a proprietary tool that lets you remove the chainrings without pulling the powermeter, so downstream servicing stays straightforward.

This is the standard Q-factor version with a 45mm chainline, built for road frames. If you're on a wider all-road or gravel platform that needs the 47.5mm chainline, you want the Wide variant instead — same arms, different offset. The DUB spindle covers threaded and press-fit frame standards when paired with the matching bottom bracket, and the 30mm aluminum axle keeps the interface stiff without adding rotating mass.
