SRAM's Force E1 AXS Power Meter Spider is the Force-tier version of the Thread Mount power meter platform that debuted on the new Red AXS group, and it borrows the spider architecture directly from that flagship. The spider uses a proprietary thread-on chainring mount system which reduces weight and increases stiffness without compromising the ability to swap rings, and delivers dual-sided power measurement accurate to +/-1.5% even as weather conditions change. If you're already running Force AXS E1 cranks and want to add power without stepping up to the Red integrated spider, this is the piece you bolt on.

The spider is intended for use with Force E1 crank arms, but also fits cranksets using an 8-bolt mounting interface, and when paired with SRAM Force E1 Thread Mount Chainrings it works only with road cranksets. That's the important compatibility note — this is a road-only setup when built with Force Thread Mount rings. Chainring options are limited to 46/33T, 48/35T, and 50/37T; if you need larger rings, you'll want the Red or integrated Force direct mount power meter instead. The thread-on interface itself is what enables the swap between those ratios without pulling the crank off the bike, and it keeps the chainring-to-spider contact patch fully engaged for cleaner shifting under load.

Power data runs over both Bluetooth low energy and ANT+ wireless data transfer , so it pairs with any modern head unit or training app. MagicZero automatically checks and recalibrates the power meter as you ride, no cadence magnet is required, and the unit is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes with 10K temperature compensation handling the swings between cold morning starts and midday heat. Battery life runs up to 200 hours on a user-replaceable CR2032, which for most riders works out to a full season before you need to think about it. Firmware updates and configuration happen through the SRAM AXS app, same as the rest of the AXS ecosystem.
