The kit centers on the GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur with T-Type architecture. SRAM's T-Type system uses a transmission-style mounting interface where the derailleur bolts directly to the frame's UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger), eliminating the separate hanger as a wear item and potential failure point. The derailleur positions closer to the cassette, shortening chain wrap and improving shift accuracy across the 10-52t range. An Overload clutch releases tension during big impacts rather than forcing the derailleur cage to absorb the hit, then re-engages automatically.

Shift commands come from the Eagle AXS POD Controller, a thumb-activated unit that mounts to your existing brake lever clamp.
