The 971 chain features the same construction as the 951 with the addition of silver nickel plated outer links for added longevity and durability. Other than strength, the silver outer plates clean up nice and make a clean drivetrain sparkle. Works on all Shimano and SRAM 9 speed drivetrains. Installs with the simple PowerLink connector link.
