The SRAM textured cable brake hood covers fit 2013 Red 10-speed, Red 22, Force 22, and Rival 22 levers and are sold as a pair, so you can refresh both sides at the same time and keep the feel of the bar consistent under each hand.

The rubber is lightly textured rather than smooth, which gives you a bit more grip on the tops when your hands are wet with rain or sweat — a small detail that matters more than you'd think on long climbs when you're pulling on the hoods out of the saddle. The 2013 Red brake/shifter platform uses a different hood shape and lever design than the 2007-2012 Red generation, so these will not stretch over the older ErgoDynamic levers or the original first-generation Red hoods. If your levers pre-date 2013, you need the older-style hood, not this one.

Fit is limited to the mechanical/cable DoubleTap platform.
