Red 22 X-Glide 11-Speed Inner Chainring
Size: 39T Grey
Description
Chainring wear sneaks up on riders — front shifts get lazy, the chain skips under load, and no amount of derailleur adjustment quite dials it back in. SRAM's Red 22 X-Glide 11-Speed Inner Chainring is the direct replacement when the inner ring on a Red 22 crankset has done its miles. It uses the same X-Glide tooth profiling and shift gate positioning that came stock on the crankset, so front shift quality returns to what it was out of the box.
The 110mm BCD hidden-bolt pattern matches SRAM's compact and mid-compact Red 22 cranksets, and the ring works with the Yaw front derailleur that defines the Red 22 groupset. If the outer ring still has life but the inner is showing tooth wear, you can swap just the inner and keep the rest of the drivetrain in service. That's the practical case for buying a single ring instead of a full crankset — chain, cassette, and outer ring all wear at different rates, and matching the replacement interval to the actual part that's worn out saves money.
This is a 2x11 road-specific ring, so it's tied to the 11-speed era of SRAM road groupsets — Red 22, Force 22, and Rival 22 — and not compatible with the 12-speed AXS platform, which uses a different tooth spacing and direct-mount interface. If you're running the original mechanical Red 22 setup and want to keep it running the way SRAM designed it, this is the correct ring rather than trying to adapt something from the AXS lineup.
