Chainline is the whole reason this version exists. SRAM's Red XPLR AXS E1 DUB Wide Crank Arm Assembly runs a 47.5mm chainline and a 150mm Q-factor, where the road Red crank sits at 45mm and 145mm. That extra width is what gives frame designers room for wide rear tires and short chainstays, and it's the reason dropping a road crank into a gravel frame often ends in tire rub or a chain that runs crooked in the biggest cogs.

The arms themselves are hollow carbon, 29 grams lighter than the previous generation thanks to a revised layup, and they carry over from the road side of the Red E1 family — same arms, different spindle width. Finish is natural carbon, so they read as bare weave rather than painted.

Check your frame before ordering. SRAM specs this crank for use with XPLR rear derailleurs on bikes with chainstays down to 415mm, and points riders with chainstays of 414mm and shorter toward the road crank instead.
