Rival DUB 12-Speed Crankset
Description
The Rival AXS D1 crankset is where SRAM's 12-speed AXS ecosystem starts, and it's built to be interchangeable with Force and RED at the interface — same DUB spindle, same 45mm chainline, same 107 BCD direct-mount chainring pattern. The Rival crankset is the aluminum sibling of the RED and Force cranksets, and thanks to the same chainline and DUB axle, it's completely interchangeable, which matters if you have a future upgrade in mind. You can start here, ride the wheels off it, and step up the drivetrain later without touching your bottom bracket or reworking your front derailleur position.
Compatibility is the usual SRAM Road story: all SRAM Road DUB bottom brackets, 135/142 road disc hubs with chainstays under 415mm, DUB spindle interface, 107 BCD, and 9/16" pedal threads. Chainrings are integrated direct-mount rather than 4- or 5-bolt spider designs — the inner and outer rings come as a bonded unit that bolts directly to the crank arm. Two ring options cover most road use: the D1 DUB crankset has a 13-tooth gap between chainrings and is available in 48/35T and 46/33T. The 48/35T pairs with a 10-33T or 10-36T XG-1250 cassette for standard road riding, and the 46/33T drops your gearing further for climbing-heavy routes or heavier all-road tire setups.
Q-factor and chainline are worth confirming against your frame before ordering. Rival standard spindle cranksets run a 145mm Q-Factor , and the chainline for standard spindle cranksets is 45mm, while the wide spindle version runs 47.5mm — a 2.5mm difference between the two. This listing is the standard (non-Wide) version, so it's built around road frames with typical chainstay clearance and tire widths up to roughly 700x35mm. If you're running wider tires or a gravel frame with extra clearance, the Wide version is the one you want instead.... Read More
