SRAM Rival eTap AXS D1 HRD Disc Brake Caliper

This is SRAM's replacement caliper for the Rival eTap AXS hydraulic disc brake system. The caliper body uses aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware to keep the weight down while maintaining stiffness under braking loads. The flat mount design includes a 20mm offset, which handles most modern road and gravel frames without needing additional adapters for standard rotor sizes.

The caliper runs DOT 5.1 brake fluid, which resists heat fade during long descents. The two-piston setup delivers consistent pad contact across the rotor surface, and the pistons retract cleanly to reduce the chance of rotor rub. The caliper works with both front and rear installations—there's no specific left or right orientation. The steel-backed organic brake pads ship installed and bedded in, so you're ready to ride once you've bled the system and mounted the rotor.

The caliper interfaces with any SRAM road hydraulic brake lever through standard hose connections. That means you can mix this Rival caliper with Force or Red levers if you're looking to save weight at the controls while keeping brake costs down. The caliper's flat mount tabs bolt directly to frame or fork mounts, and the 20mm offset positions the caliper correctly for 140mm or 160mm rotors depending on your adapter choice. This is a caliper-only replacement—brake hose and mounting hardware sold separately.
