Besides the chain itself, the rear derailleur pulleys bear the brunt of use and stress in this system and should be checked for wear and any other issues regularly.

XX1 Eagle Rear Derailleurs shipped with hybrid stainless steel race/ceramic bearing equipped pulley wheels. SRAM uses their X-Sync pulley tooth profiling for the X-Horizon design cage, with a 12T upper pulley, and a larger 14T lower pulley. This set includes the two pulleys and a full set of the fitted bearing covers that act as washers (or spacers) when the pulleys are installed.
