The Black Prince compound addresses the other half of the carbon rim braking equation: actual stopping power and feel. SwissStop formulated this compound to deliver modulation that feels closer to braking on aluminum than traditional carbon-specific pads. The relationship between lever force and braking force stays linear, so you get predictable response whether feathering into a corner or grabbing hard for an unexpected stop. Wet weather performance sees significant gains as well, with reduced stopping distances when water hits the brake track.
