I used these pads with my Campagnolo Hyperon (carbon clincher) wheelset and the chatter and erratic braking was just awful. Changed back to the Campagnolo 701-702 pads and used those with complete satisfaction. I'm using the same Campagnolo pads with my Reynolds KOM and Lightweight Obermayer's too.

Unless you do not like your carbon wheels never use the same brake pads on both. The aluminum wheels leave little flects on aluminum imbedded in your pads, Then when used on your carbon, it is like taking a wire brush to them.. It also voids you cabon wheels warrenty!!! Take the few minutes and switch the pads when you switch the wheels!!!

I am using these with a set of Reynolds DV3K clinchers & SRAM force calipers. Previously I was using stock Reynolds blue pads. Got them because I couldn’t use the blue pads on my aluminum wheelset, SRAM S27, which have typical machined braking surfaces. On carbon, the yellows have more ultimate stopping power than the blue pads, but with much less modulation, i.e., they’re a bit grabby. The yellows also are much more prone to squeal than the blues, using an identical toe-in angle. On aluminum, the yellows are not impressive. They work, but since they’re primarily designed for carbon, they just work OK. Sort of like riding an entry level bike. Big big heads up, throw away the retention screws that come with the yellows. The heads strip like they’re made of butter when using a ball head wrench.
